Just finished Catching Fire, the second book of The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. What two great reads, and I don't care if you're 14 or 53. "Can't put down" kind of books. The immediacy (and technical difficulty) of writing in the present tense makes riveting reading. Just read the first one, as I posted, and feel no need to read the rest--they are rather creepy. But after reading this report from Comic Con--that they were not well received by the Twilight crowd, with the implication that Vampire Diaries are a Twilight ripoff--I have to mention this.
